We had such a wonderful time presenting a program of Jazz to students of the
Altama Elementary School in Brunswick, Georgia. Our thanks go out to the
teachers and staff, including Dr Regina Johnson who helped to coordinate the
program and Dr Julianne Rogers, principal, who afforded us t
his opportunity.
But we are particularly grateful to the students who interacted with us and re-
sponded to the music with great energy and enthusiasm. What a joy it was
for us to perform with Ms Brearley's great sounding "Recorder Ensemble" playing
the blues....terrific!
On behalf of Al Waters, saxophone & flute, Stan Walker, drums and our primary
presenter, Keith Williams, who put his communication skills to great use....we
say thank you and look forward to a return visit next year ...sharing "Ame
rica's
